Words and Music @ Bega Library

Event Description

Words and Music is a fun, free and relaxed event featuring a book chat, musical performance and a delicious morning tea.

Before the event read the selected book so you can take part in the book chat. In November we are discussing 'The Last Daughter', by Brenda Matthews. There are copies available via the library, and the eBook is on BorrowBox.

We are also excited to offer a screening the film of 'The Last Daughter', at Tura Marrang Library, Tuesday 7th November, 6.00pm - please book for this via separate event listing.

If you haven't read or finished the book, come along to the discussion on Saturday 25th November anyway and enjoy the fun!

Please note that children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of the event to enable us to begin on time. Our events are sometimes filmed or photographed for promotional purposes. Images may be used on the library's or council's social media pages or by newspapers. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published please let us know below. COVID-19 GUIDELINES All library events abide by and are subject to current NSW COVID-19 Public Health Orders. If you or your child are unwell, please stay at home. Let us know you can’t come by cancelling your ticket or email library@begavalley.nsw.gov.au. We look forward to seeing you at the library. CANCELLATIONS Our events often book out. If you are unable to attend, please let us know before the event so we can allocate your spot to another person. You can cancel your ticket up to 24 hours before the start of an event and have your ticket fee refunded. To cancel, log into the EB1 account you used to purchase your ticket or email library@begavalley.nsw.gov.au. Cancellations will incur a small booking fee. Events cancelled by us will not incur a cancellation fee. Occasionally, we need to cancel an event due to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances. If we need to cancel an event you will be notified via email or telephone and your ticket fee will be fully refunded. We look forward to seeing you at the library.
