Bridge for Beginners

Event Description

Learn the most popular card game in the world.
The Bega Valley Bridge Club will be running a series of six FREE lessons for anyone who would like to learn to play the card game bridge.
Run every Tuesday for six weeks, starting on Tuesday 6th June.

Bridge is the most popular card game in the world, played by an estimated 60 million people!
Easy to learn yet hard to master, Bridge is fun at all levels.

Some advantages of playing bridge:
 inexpensive
 mentally challenging
 a great retirement hobby, but suitable for all ages
 provides extensive opportunities to play competitively (for those who are interested)
 lots of social interaction with people from all walks of life
 can be played on-line, in a club or socially at home
 it’s lots of fun!

Class dates are June 6, June 13, June 20, June 27, July 4, July 11. Participants are encouraged to come to all or as many sessions as possible to get the most out of the class.

Notes & Requirements

Please note that children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of the event to enable us to begin on time. Our events are sometimes filmed or photographed for promotional purposes. Images may be used on the library's or council's social media pages or by newspapers. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please let us know below. COVID-19 GUIDELINES: All library events abide by and are subject to current NSW COVID-19 Public Health Orders. If you or your child are unwell, please stay at home. If you are unable to attend, please let us know before the event so we can allocate your spot to another person. Occasionally, we need to cancel an event due to insufficient bookings or unforeseen circumstances. If we need to cancel an event you will be notified via email or telephone.
