Event Description

Join us for an enlightening workshop led by Dr. Debbi Long, a dedicated permaculture practitioner, teacher, and anthropologist with over 30 years of experience.

Dr. Long is actively regenerating land on Walbunja country, utilising the transformative principles of permaculture. Her extensive background includes serving as a Senior Research Fellow on the Jean Monnet SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) project at the European Union Centre of Excellence at RMIT University.

• Composting: Learn effective methods to recycle organic waste.
• Reducing Chemical Use: Discover eco-friendly alternatives.
• Creating Community Connections: Connect with like-minded individuals.

Participants will draft a permaculture garden design, setting the foundation for your own sustainable garden journey. This hands-on activity will empower you to make a positive environmental impact right in your backyard.

Uncover how the core permaculture tenets of earth care, people care, and fair share can revolutionize both your garden and your lifestyle. Bring your questions and enthusiasm to this workshop as we cultivate growth and sustainability together.
